1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using CartAgents ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. CartAgents is a Shopify application that provides AI-powered automation services for e-commerce operations.
2. Service Description
CartAgents provides automated AI agents that integrate with Shopify stores to manage various aspects of e-commerce operations including:
- Product management and optimization
- Inventory tracking and management
- Customer service automation
- Marketing campaign management
- Order processing and fulfillment support
- Analytics and reporting
3. Shopify Integration
Our service requires integration with your Shopify store. By using CartAgents, you authorize us to access your Shopify store data as necessary to provide the automation services. We comply with Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API Terms of Service.
4. User Responsibilities
As a user of CartAgents, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your Shopify store
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws and Shopify's Terms of Service
- Use the service only for legitimate e-commerce purposes
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise our AI systems
- Promptly notify us of any security breaches or unauthorized access
5. Data Usage and AI Processing
Our AI agents process your store data to provide automation services. We use machine learning algorithms to optimize your store operations. All data processing is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations including GDPR and CCPA.
6. Subscription and Billing
CartAgents operates on a subscription basis with the following terms:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We may modify pricing with 30 days advance notice
- Free trial periods may be offered at our discretion
- Automatic renewal applies unless cancelled before renewal date
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% service uptime, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
8. Limitation of Liability
CartAgents provides automation tools to assist with store management, but you remain solely responsible for your business decisions and outcomes. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Intellectual Property
CartAgents retains all rights to our software, algorithms, and proprietary technology. You retain ownership of your store data and content. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our services.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and we will delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy. Certain provisions of this agreement will survive termination.
11. Compliance with Laws
You agree to comply with all applicable laws, including e-commerce regulations, consumer protection laws, and data privacy requirements in your jurisdiction. CartAgents complies with applicable data protection laws and Shopify's platform requirements.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.
